| Nurse Manager- WC and Disability | | | | | Position Overview: There are currently two available positions: Workers Compensation UR Nurse Manager; Disability Nurse Manager.
UR Nurse Manager -Workers Compensation Department. This department is rapidly growing and has currently 12 employees on the team. A candidate must be familiar with Workers Compensation statutes and guidelines since NMR uses national guidelines as our standards for each review.
Nurse Manager- Disability Department- There is currently 15 employees in the disability department. This department contains two divisions: Short Term Disability and Long Term Disability. A candidate must be familiar with disability work as well as Department of Labor guidelines.
This is an exceptional opportunity for a candidate who is interested in working partially from home. The ideal candidate will work approx 3 days a week at home and 1-2 days a week in the Rockford office. | | | QA Nurse: WC and Disability | | | | | Position Overview: Currently NMR is hiring for a QA nurse whose primary focus would be on quality assurance of the physician reviews. With the number of review due to clients each day, a nurse must be able to review the report and verify the report contains the correct information, the correct guidelines and that grammar and spelling are correct. The reports would be both Workers Compensation and Disability reviews. NMR is currently hiring for two shifts: Regular business hours from 8am-4:30pm CST and a night shift from 11pm-7am. Night shift is preferred. | | | Workers Compensation or Disability Production Staff | | | | | Company Overview: Network Medical Review Company (NMR) is an Independent Physician Review Organization (IRO) that specializes in Peer Reviews and Independent Medical Evaluations. NMR’s panel of physician experts provides assessments of medical necessity of health, workers compensation and disability claims.
